What's the best way to get good cheap red sox tickets(nothing over 50$ per ticket) , I stood in line for 3 hours last time and ended up with standing room

if you find out the answer to this, please let us all know! ;o)

Find a friend who has season tickets and is willing to sell you a seat at face value.
Seriously, what you are asking is next to impossible. Our town's recreation department got 40 tix and packaged them w/ a busride, but even that was $60/person. The only other, slim-chance option is to check the website 2-3 times daily starting about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks before the game you want to see and sometimes tickets are released. my husband got standing room tickets this way for a game in June. Lots of times if you are lucky enough to see seats available on-line this late, they are single seats scattered her and there. People lined up for longer than 3 hours to buy 'single game' tickets just before they went on sale in November.

Another option, and it's a longshot nowadays, is to let the game start and then visit the various scalpers trolling the streets outside the park. they'd rather give them to you at a little less than their asking price than eat them altogether. Yet another option: go to one of the many bars around Fenway and spend your $50 on beer and food while still enjoying some gameday atmosphere.

Why don't you see them in Toronto when they play the Bluejays next month. I got tickets for two games and under $50 per game. It isn't going to happen in Boston. That is why you see so many Sox fans at away games. It's cheaper than going to a game in Fenway. Most games are sold out.

Every once in a while there is a ticket drop which is a forthcoming game where there are a few seats available. It isn't advertised, how you find out about it I'm not sure.

You can forget about even getting in the gate for $50 unless you are very lucky most days. Your BEST bet is to purchase something called the Coca-Cola Magic Ticket or something like that for $60 day of the game (they haven't sold it out ever according to the Fenway tour guide). It will get you a seat near the left field foul pole (in the Coke upper gradnstands) and also let you into the Green Monster seats for 30 minutes of batting practice. This ticket is a great value.

We have all been trying to find the answer to this question for a very long time.

Where can I get this Coca Cola magic ticket ?

Only at the Fenway Park Ticket Office on the day of the game I THINK. I would suggest you call the Red Sox ticket office directly and just ask them about it to make sure. From what our tour guide said, it is a new thing for this year and evidently not too many people know about it. Sounds like a great deal to me and there is a very good chance to catch a batting practice home run ball in the Green Monster area!

Tickets are released on an ongoing basis and you can check the Red Sox website periodically to see if you can get some. I think the day before or the day of a game is your best bet. A few weeks ago I got two $50(together) tickets, grandstand, the the right of home plate on the day before the game. Another time, I just wanted to see if I could get tickets the day of the game and could have gotten two, but I couldn't use them that day and let them go.
