I stayed at the Residence Inn-downtown Atl. Aug.1-3 for my bachelorette weekend and had a great time! The hotel was very nice...I loved the historic charm it had. Me and 6 of my friends stayed in a 2 bedroom suite on the 20th floor and had a great view of the city! The hotel is very close to everything downtown.... more

Stayed at the Residence Inn Atlanta in April for work and was very pleased with this property. It's right in the heart of downtown. It looks to be an old office building redone for the hotel. The room was a bit small but it was very clean. It was what a marriott should be. The lobby is very small with... more

This one was so tiny that I had a hard time moving around in the room. There was hardly enough room to set up the cot that was brought up for an extra bed. The rooms were clean. They had all the typical stuff that a Residence Inn room has. The price was excellent for the time of year I... more

We're an early 50's DINK couple, upper middle-class frequent travelers with tastes ranging from Broadway to Wal-Mart... sushi to McDonalds.. but with little tolerance for the grossly tattooed/pierced, profane (if loud) smokers of the world. We're not puritans or prudes (go Kathy Griffin/Chris Rock!).. we're just real people who can, at this point in our lives, usually buy our way... more

My wife and I were to attend a convention in downtown atlanta where we usually stay at the Marriott Marquis. It was full. we looked for alternate hotels and found the Residence Inn at $99 per night for 3 nights. It was very clean, quiet, and everyone was helpful. It is what alot of people call a boutique style hotel.... more

Booked 3 rooms at this hotel for Chick' fil' a bowl game on New Years Eve. We arrived early, 11am, not expecting to be able to check-in, especially with 3 rooms, however our rooms were ready and had quick and easy check-in. Since this was New Years Eve, bowl game and concert in town, we thought it would be impossible... more

I have been coming to downtown Atlanta for business 4-6x/year for the last 4 years. I always stay with my management group but this time I decided to venture out on my own. I could not be more pleased with the Residence Inn. Everyone was courteous, the security is friendly and attentive, the room was well appointed, and I have... more

I do not recommend the Residence Inn beside Marriott Atlanta/Kennesaw because I had Jewlery, make up, and clothing stollen by the maids will staying there. Then confronted the front desk. I have not received any help from the hotel management. Also, the two bedroom suites, you cannont get the rooms a warm tempature without having the livingroom at least 78... more

My husband and I recently spent 5 nights at this hotel and couldn't have been more pleased. The accommodations (bedroom, bathroom, living area/kitchen) were very comfortable. A breakfast buffet was provided each morning in a pleasant dining area, and a light supper Monday-Thursday eves. The location was perfect, in walking distance to the new Aquarium and other sights, and right... more

I made the mistake of booking this property based on Marriott affiliation. I should have read and heeded the reviews on this site! I was planning to stay for three days during the Atlanta Gift Market. When I checked in at @8:00 p.m. on a Friday, I was expecting they would honor my guaranteed reservation for a non-smoking room. I... more
