We stayed at The Belvedere for 4 nights and booked through their website. We had a King Executive room (1501), a lovely corner room with nice views from all windows. They have a small kitchenette with a good sized refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The front desk staff, concierge, doorman, cleaning staff were all extremely nice. We got our room... more

We stayed at the Belvedere Hotel Sept. 21-28, 2008. We were in New York mainly to see some Broadway musicals. This hotel is idealy located. We saw 5 musicals and the furthest walk we had was 10 minutes. It's also about a 10 minute walk to Times Square. The room we had (523) was very large by New York standards,... more

My wife and I, along with our three kids (two teenagers and a 10 year old) spent 4 nights at the Belvedere in August. I booked the room on Placestostay.com and got a pretty good rate ($225). I was worried about having 5 in one room but we didn't get hassled about it. The other reviews of this hotel are... more

We returned today from a few days in New York. We stayed at The Belvedere Hotel and it was a joy to stay there. We had a normal room with a King-bed. The hotelstaff was pleasant, very helpfull and polite. The room was clean, big enough and looked newly decorated (you only need a place to sleep but a nice... more

Great Location just up from Times Square, a ten minute walk from Central Park, and right in the heart of the Theatre District. Rooms are a pretty good size, compared to reviews from other hotels in New York, and have the benefit of a small kitchenette with fridge and microwave oven. The hotel was clean and tidy and certainly didn't... more

We have just returned from the Belvedere hotel and loved every minute of our stay! I have to say i was a bit nervous arriving because of some of the reviews on here, but i didn't need to be! I got a bus from Newark airport to Port Authority bus depot ($15) and then a taxi from there to the... more

For our first trip to the USA ever we could not have found a better hotel, the rooms are great, the staff very helpful and friendly, a awesome location, close to everything but in a quiet street. Only a few minutes away from Times square, lots of shops and restaurants on walking distance, when you want to use the hop... more

Stayed for 3 nights in the Belvedere Hotel and was delighted with the room. From what I understand rooms in New York can be quite small so we was pleasantly surprised. For the price we paid this is great value. If you are looking for pure luxury - look elsewhere. If you are looking for a comfortable 3 star in... more

We stayed at The Belvedere from 8/26/08 - 8/31/08. We booked the hotel through Priceline a few months in advance and got a decent rate (around $200 a night). I called up to confirm with the hotel on 2 different occasons and both times they were pleasant and accomodating. We arrived at our hotel and were promptly greeted at the... more

I was looking at reviews of hotels in Chicago and somehow followed a link to a review of the Belvedere in NY. As I read the review I recognized the lobby and rooms from the pictures on line. My mom and I stayed there back in 05 for one night while we were in town to see Mamma Mia. We... more
