Our problems started before we even checked in. The hotel has nearly 1400 rooms, yet probably only about 250 self-parking spots. So, if the hotel is even remotely busy...guess what... you are stuck paying the $32/nt to Valet (plus tip of course) instead of the $21/nt to self park. Stayed for 5 days at the Marriott Marina last week. Room on the 16th floor, Marina side. Never heard the train once (so book a Marina room!) Stayed 4 nights in the hotel for a convention. While the property is nice, the room itself is nothing special. The hotel is expensive and it irritates me that most $75 a night hotels can provide free internet access but a $300 per night hotel charges $10 per day. And the valet parking is $30 per day.
