Good hotel, initial room was very noisy, asked to move but were given two Queen beds rather than a King so had to ask to be moved again but a lack of rooms limited options. However, good overall stay. more
This is a overdue review, since i was at the hotel back in Dec 2005. As a Priority Club member, i have stayed in several 5-stars Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza and 4-stars Holiday Inn during my business and leisure trips thoughout Asia. This hotel is the first HI-Express i am staying in (not many HI-Express franchises in Asia), but since i... more
We stayed at this hotel for two nights after disembarking our Panama Canal cruise. This hotel was in a perfect location for sightseeing and only a 5 minute taxi ride from the cruise pier. We enjoyed walking to sight see at Pier 39, Lombard Street and Fishermans Wharf area. We had 3 rooms as were travelling with our extended family.... more
Recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Fisherman's Wharf for four days with my teenage daughter. Great loacation, walking distance to most of the sites of the city. The staff was extremely accomodating and helpful....very impressed with the service. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast bar was packed each morning, but hey...it's free! I was hesitant when I booked this... more
We stayed at the HI-FW the weekend of August 8, 2008. We found the hotel to be a good choice for our trip. We were in the Main Building (the one with the front desk) at the corner of Levenworth and Bay. This location is located right in between Ghiardelli Square and Pier 39. About a 10 minute walk to... more
We booked this hotel for two nights through Expedia.com at a cost of $342.00 per night for what turned out to be a budget hotel. On arrival no assistance was available to help with the luggage and we had to look for a luggage trolley to bring our luggage to our room. Rooms were clean and adequate, if somewhat drab... more
My husband and I stayed here during our cross-country trip (by car). The service was superb and location; the best. Literally, right around the corner from Fisherman's Wharf and the Pier. The cable car and Gharadelli Sq. are right there too. We couldn't have picked a better location. Not to mention- safe! This hotel is close to everything yet very... more
We stayed here for 2 nights in August and found it to be a great choice. The hotel was extremely clean and our room on 4th floor was very quiet. The breakfast was also very good and I was hesitant after reading some complaints about breakfast area and although we found it to be crowded , it was well stocked... more
Very new & clean, perfect rooms and surroundings. Within very easy walking distance (a few blocks) from Fishermans Wharf. The only problem is parking. Beware, I didn't read in reviews that their parking garage at the hotel can fill up. We had to drop off luggage then drive around the corner to Anchorage Parking Garage to store our car at... more
