Just back from our vacation and HHH was the first hotel we stayed at. Have to say the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the views from the hill were fantastic and the location was perfect. When we arrived to check in, the receptionist was at pains to emphasis that the Hollywood Hills Hotel is cool, but that it is unusual. If you're looking for something a little bit different from your standard hotel experience, this could be for you. If you just want convenience and the normal mod-cons, then stay in the Magic Castle Hotel... more

We recently stayed at the Hollywood Hills Hotel and it was a very nice place. The views were fantastic, though the walk up to the hotel can be a bit taxing (they do offer a shuttle but we needed the exercise!) A friend and I just stayed at the HHH last weekend...our experience was consistently odd, from start to finish. On the plus side, the location is awesome and the views are amazing. The pool is fine and it's nice to have a kitchen in your room, though we had some issues with our ability to use it-more on that later.... more
