My husband attended a one day conference scheduled at the Fairmont and we decided to stay an extra day. He booked us through What a Hotel. Not only did we get a terrific price for very high quality accommodations and service, we also got a free upgrade for breakfast and fruit in our room. We were extremely pleased with the... more

This was my husband and I first time staying at the Fairmont Washington as we were there attending a wedding. The hotel is located within walking distances from Georgetown which is absolutely beautiful. Since our room was not ready when checking in (we requested an early check in four times and were told it would be ready) we were upgraded... more

I was booked at the Fairmont for a conference. I saw the rate that our group paid and if I was traveling myself I would have paid that price. I was somewhat expecting a 4 star place that really shined, what I got was a 4 star place that shined, but was showing some wear. If you are a demanding... more

A girlfriend and I decided to spend our short break from work in DC. We stayed at the Fairmont and planned to also go to a Patty Austin NYE Jazz show at the fabulous Kennedy Center. We are both members of the Fairmonts' customer loyalty programs and were not disappointed. We are both extensive world travelers and found the DC... more

This was my third time at the Fairmont Washington and it remains a truly wonderful place to stay. I was upgraded to a Capital permier Corner Suite which was quite beautiful--separate sitting and dining area, king bed etc. The hotel is smaller than some of the giant DC conference factories and so has an intimacy and warmth that make me... more

We stayed in one of the regular rooms, with two "double" (not really that big) beds. The room was average to a bit larger, with a desk, small table, a couple of regular chairs, one arm chair, a clean ironing board and a good quality iron, and one small analog TV set. The room was clean and generally well maintained.... more

This hotel is beautiful and within walking distance to Georgetown but that's about it. It is far from everything else. The room was lovely and the view of the Westin was nice. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Nice but I wouldn't recommend it more

I really enjoyed my stay here. I have found Fairmonts to be pretty close in quality to Four Seasons and Ritz-Carltons, but a lot cheaper in price (if you search for a deal). This hotel was no exception. The service isn't quite up to the FS/RC level, but everything else was. The hotel is in DC's West End, about five... more

Having stayed in many Fairmont properties this property around Dupont Circle/ Georgetown was small and grand on the outside. Greetings from the doorman opened the door to a marble lobby and concierge waiting for requests. The property sits in a quiet young proffessional part of DC with an easy to walk to any cafe or nightclub. The hotel's gift shop... more

My husband and I, my mother and my in-laws stayed on the Gold Level to celebrate our daughter's graduation. We liked and used the lounge area with its complimentary food and beverages. The service was friendly and professional. I am a dog lover and a dog owner. Unfortunately, I am also allergic to dogs, something that I discovered after allergy... more
