Just returned from Cancun Palace - there from 18th to 26th July 2008. Excellent. First room we got was on 4th floor overlooking the Theatre, we asked for a change as we would have preferred a beach view and would have liked a "higher" room. The Cancun Palace is absolutely incredible. I stayed there in March of 2005 before they remodeled it and it was beautiful then. But after the renovations it is breathtaking! We booked three rooms. They were able to put all of us close, on the same floor and ocean view. All drinks in the frig. are free. Unlimited free phone calls to the U.S. which is extremely useful. Maid service is twice a day. My advice is to avoid 5th floor or below because the music noise in the evening.... more
