I just got back from my honeymoon in Aruba and my husband and I loved our stay at the Renaissance. We stayed at the Ocean Suites however we did go over to the family resort to enjoy the bar scene at night. It was amazing that as a guest you could enjoy the amenities of both resorts. My husband used... more

I stayed at the adult only hotel and this place was amazing. You are right in the middle of everything, really don't need a car and have a private island to go to. The private island has an adult side, family side, nature walk, outdoor cafe with WIFI access, tennis courts, a gym, massage stations, lounge chair service and hammocks... more

Having visited Aruba twice before on cruises we decided to stay for 2 weeks and were wooed by the speedboat, private island image of this hotel. Just wish we had checked it our first. For the money we paid, nearly £200 per night ( and I got an upgrade from island suite due to mix up with response to an... more

We stayed at the Marina Towers Hotel, Room 1658. We had a perfect view out at the marina and ocean, which was beautiful. However, they initially put us in an awful room, very small, which had a window looking into the center of the hotel, where the mall was. It was miserable. I was in the room for about 2... more

The hotel was nice but nothing special or above average. As far as a beach at the hotel there really isn't one except for the small lagoon. The pool was ok in size but I didnt find it to be clean one day that were there out of 8. The island was the only thing worth staying at this hotel... more

We stayed at the Ocean suites from 7/16-7/27/08. We were in room 2452 and had a great view of the bay east of the hotel. When we checked in the hotel was overbooked and gave us a room on the opposite end of the hotel overlooking the parking lot. They apologized for the inconvenience but moved us to an ocean... more

I too was disappointed that the hotel was under renovation (this was one of the main attactions of the hotel) . They was working on the entrance into the hotel and the entrance for the boat that takes you to the private island. I made my reservations over the phone and was not notified of its renovations. I stayed at... more

We just returned back from a week long (7/12-7/19) stay at the Renaissance Aruba Resort. We were in the adults only Marina hotel. I was immediately disappointed when we got out of our taxi to discover that the hotel was undergoing renovations and that we had not previously been notified of it, there is no mention of the renovations on... more

This was our 3rd visit to Aruba. We took our son with us this time as a high school graduation gift. The first two visits we stayed at the Westin on the high rise hotel section of the island. We enjoyed going to the downtown area and it became pricey taking a taxi down and back each time. This time... more

Stayed in the Ocean Suites from 6/13-6/20/08. We had previously stayed at The Marriott Surf Club in 2006, and found that resort to be way overcrowded. The Ocean Suites were excellent . You could always find seats at the pool or on the private island. The staff was excellent, especially at the pool bar. The private island was awesome, but... more
